Report or block someone

Open the menu on a post, a comment, a capsule or a chat (tap ••• or press and hold) to report it, or to block the person. Reports go to our moderation queue for review.

If you cannot use the app, email [email protected] with the person's handle and what happened.

Your account

Delete your account: in the app, open your Profile, tap the settings icon, then Account Information, then Delete Account. If you cannot open the app, email [email protected] from the address on the account. Our account deletion page explains what is deleted and when.

Safety

If someone is in immediate danger, call 999 (or your local emergency number outside the UK) before anything else.

Worried that a child is being groomed or sexually abused online? You can report it to the police at CEOP. Report it in EchoDrop too, so we can act on the account.

Under 19 and need to talk to someone? Childline is free on 0800 1111, or at childline.org.uk.

Read our Child Safety Standards and Community Guidelines.

Security

Found a security problem in EchoDrop? Email [email protected] with SECURITY in the subject. Please do not access other people's accounts or data while you look. Our vulnerability disclosure policy sets out what is in scope and what you can expect from us.
